Our efforts to protect the environment are reflected in numerous measures we have taken to minimize our ecological footprint.

• Heating and dryer operation with wood pellets:
Our heating and dryers are powered by efficient wood pellets, an ecological and sustainable heat source.
• Green electricity from hydropower and photovoltaic system:
The electricity we use comes from renewable energy sources, including hydropower and our photovoltaic system.
• Energy-saving LED lighting:
The entire hotel is equipped with energy-saving LED lights, significantly reducing energy consumption.
• Electric vehicle charging stations:
For our guests traveling with electric vehicles, we offer convenient electric charging stations.

Ecological products
• In our laundry, we only use eco-friendly detergents, electronically dosed to protect the environment.
• Our brochures and toilet paper are made from FSC-certified paper.
• In our rooms, you will find exclusively plastic-free personal care products, such as soap, shampoo, and toothpaste.
• Our beverages are served in glass bottles, and the mineral water comes from our region, reducing transport distances.
• We provide thermos bottles so you can avoid single-use plastic during your hikes.

Sustainable food
• Enjoy our rich breakfast with homemade jams, natural yogurt, hazelnut chocolate cream, muesli, and bread – all without packaging.
• Our meat, ham, and speck come from regional butchers.
• We offer coffee and tea from selected South Tyrolean companies.
• Our cheese comes directly from the Ebenhof in Collepietra.
• We receive fresh eggs from the farm Mortnerwirt and grandma’s chicken coop.
• Depending on availability, our salads, herbs, and vegetables come from our garden or local farmers.
• We prefer seasonal fruits and vegetables from Italy.
